“Science of a Desolate Land” marks the atmosphere of immersion between archives, reports and images of an expeditionary and exploratory past, which, when updated, complexifies the relationship between the real, the fictional, the imagined and the memory. A trip through the historical time that casts a look at the presence of crystallized structures in the Brazilian individual and collective memory, challenging us to see the contemporary reality in perspective.
