Ana Maria (n.1959) is a storyteller. Her plastic exercise is based on detail and detail, exacerbation of the small pleasures in each paragraph, sentence, word or punctuation mark. On canvas or paper, his poetic alliterations, palette open to the semantic possibilities of color, are drawn in an endless tangle of semiotic and emotional designs.
In 1982 he graduated in Philosophy from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto, although since 1980 he has participated in numerous national and international group exhibitions. His first solo exhibition is held in 1983 at the Casino de Espinho. Since then, there have been nearly three dozen solo performances across the country.
