The Mirador de la Barrancas in Fariza (Zamora) is one of the many viewpoints along the course of the River Douro in the Arribes del Duero natural park, the natural border between Spain and Portugal. Of particular note is the representation of the rocks in this area, with gorges and high stone walls, which the artist does not show in this work.
