Luis Medina paints striking works that are minimalist in composition and expressive in colour. By building up layer upon layer of acrylic on his canvases, the artist achieves rich and deep areas of colour. Luis has a knack for combining and contrasting different hues, and we find his more opposing combinations particularly effective.
