The work of Anabela Rodrigues is fundamentally characterised by sculpture and painting. She began by working, essentially, on collecting found fragments of wood, building large-scale installations with the multiplication of elements. These sets of small objects would later be used as "matrix" to produce paintings. This methodology was reversed in subsequent works where objects/installations were produced from photographs and paintings of fragments.
Currently, the most used material is metal.
