This artwork is part of the Under Construction MAAT series, it was produced in 2016 during the construction of the MAAT museum. During the building process of the museum, I did a photographic survey, which was used as a form of inspiration and reference for this artwork, using as technique assemblage with cardboard, gouache, acrylic, and Indian ink on paper. At the beginning of the construction of the MAAT museum, it was easier to take images of the initial structure with geometric elements that are very interesting for my work style, shapes that fascinate me. In this series, unlike the vivid colours that I usually use in my work, I tried a colour palette based on black and white, exploring new textures and colours generating a new experience.
