"Ana Cristina Leite was born in 1964 in Porto, Portugal. She lives and works there to this day. Raised in a family of artists, she promptly picked up her mother's paintbrushes, and soon the blood in her veins was coursing through the colours in
her paintings. She studied Fine Art at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto and achieved international recognition, displaying unusual tenacity in a solo career spanning over 30 years. (...)
