I interact with the world, gain experience, make mistakes and return to the studio with the
knowledge that I get. It is a constant movement, internal emigration, going outside oneself and
escaping inside. The deeper I dive, the less figurative, recognizable remains in my works. This is a
challenge to the viewer because any incomprehensible information is perceived as a potential
threat. It is conscious, but not always, fear of entering into a new experience of self-knowledge. I
assume that only in case when each one of us would immerse in the analysis of the thoughts,
images, and feelings, we would get hope for a healthier society. I study the medium specificity of
painting, simultaneously reflecting on my interactions with the world. I create and find nonexistent
spaces. I observe my own evolution of thinking, and how it affects my vision of the role of
painting.
