When Micael Ferreira sees a work of art, one of the things that strikes him most is the sensations the artist feels when creating it. All the works that Micael Ferreira creates come from his memory, but he doesn't use memory as a theme, only as a figurative actor. The artist feels that he doesn't want to lock himself into a specific theme. He likes to represent the past and contextualise it in the present, and vice versa.
"What we live and do is the result of our present influences, which one day may be taken as past, but now, it's the present." - Micael Ferreira
