Virgínia is a contemporary painter focused on realism. From portraits to landscapes, designed pieces and fast sketches, her work primes for quality. Technic has always been the baseline for her work, as well as design and taste. Giving realism a freer and more expressive approach, she explores mostly oil painting, charcoal drawing and some dabble in sculpting.
Born in Portugal, she was based in Barcelona, Spain for the last 5 years. She graduated from the Barcelona Academy of Art in 2020 under a student-teacher scholarship, and recently return to her hometown in Portugal.
Her work has been exhibited in several sites in Barcelona, including the Design Museum, and in Braga, including the Lúcio Craveiro da Silva library.
