Thickness of the hidden. Series of oil paintings that seeks the artwork through a dialogue. Each layer reflects an idiosyncrasy, persons, emotions, contradictions, control, freedom, intermissions of becoming; a path. Each path takes us to a different path. Each layer becomes a new layer. The first layer, almost monochromatic or thin like a first impression is decomposed layer after layer revealing the inner complexity, texture and thickness of the hidden. The process is planned; the result is often random, sometimes controlled by the artist, sometimes controlled by the artwork.
