Francisco Ferro was born in 1954 in Ourique (Portugal), and is currently living and working in Lisbon.
He graduated in Fine Arts-Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and is a full member of the National Society of Fine Arts and Printmaking - Cooperative of Portuguese Engravers.
Since 1975, he has held more than 100 individual and collective exhibitions. Emphasis to the 1st Prize Drawing (CGD) - IV Spring Salon and to the 2nd Prize ex aequo - Competition for Young Artists, in 1990.
His work is represented in private and public collections.
