Hugo works with reusable materials, using - most of the time - as support of his paintings the cardboard, through the plasticity and relation with the oil pastels and acrylics that it uses. He paints female figures as a stereotyped mirror of an urban society in identity failure. The characters they portray are never what is painted, but all that is not, are figures outside of themselves, which only appear to be a false truth.
