A natural artist from Lisbon, that grew up between Estoril and Berlin (to accompany his father, also a painter). He settled in Braga in 2006, a city he already took as his.
Becken Filipe travelled their passions in the duality of your academic background: between the communication design (IADE) and sculpture (FBAUL). From the merger would arise the painting, recent practice, but constant and daily. However, drawing always made part of their life, which feels in his aesthetic options, as a painter who prefers the figuration and pluck the brush, with enormous delicacy, perfectionism and noted influence of German expressionism, faces, bodies and above everything movements and rvelations of complicity between the represented and the context of his framing.
The exhibitions are still of local geography, preparing, after a period of thematic definition, to think of its first individual.
