Rita Melo was born in Porto in 1982, city where she lives and works. With degree (University of Coimbra, 2005), post-graduate (University of Lisbon, 2007) and master's degree in painting (University of Évora, 2012), Rita Melo is represented in several state and private collections, including: the Ministry of Culture of the Federation from Russia; private collection of Vladimir Putin; Deutsche Bank; Municipalities of Milan and Penafiel; Wine Museum of Bairrada; Jornal de Noticias; and Espaço T. Exhibits individually and collectively since 2004 and has been representing Portugal international in several projects.
