Ricardo Brisolla Ravanello (Rio Grande do Sul, 1978), Graduated in Social Communication, Master of Language Sciences, and currently develops a Ph.D. in Social Communication at the University of Minho. Professor and researcher in the field of image, Ricardo Brisolla Ravanello is interested in expanded photography, as well as in the founding process of photography technology, such as printing on paper and albumen Salgado, Van Dyke Brown, kalitipia among others.
Their work has the theoretical premise that photography is always a fiction. Thus, photography by its fictional nature, is never a reflection or piece of reality, is the instrument that the photographer has to produce narratives.
