Cristina Troufa works predominantly surrealist figurative painting. In the most recent works, she uses her own image, exploring her experiences and spiritual beliefs. The artist wants to consolidate the idea of self-portrait, but also reflect on a spiritual, emotional and psychological self-portrait, that can be done conceptually.
