Ianara has a unique style that continues to evolve. She uses a very diverse colour palette, usually very vibrant and bold.
Her paintings are inspired by her passion for colour, texture, depth and how these interact and collide with light.
Her creative process follows a natural stream, not entirely rational. Her work aims to express creativity and authenticity through colours.
Ianara uses spatulas, rollers, carvings, glue and even toys from her children to add texture, light, and drama to her artwork.
She was influenced by many artists, in particular Rothko for his spiritual nature, Soulages by the use of unusual materials to create light next to dark, Richter for his technique and exceptional use of colours.
