This work is called Atlas because it contains everything; in it, a piece of world and heaven come together.
My aim was to bring the dimension of the infinity to the work, create a connection with the cosmos and fuse different space and time. Merging together heaven and earth, we have at the same time the unreachable - that which we don’t understand and that which is accessible to us. Our planet symbolizes the material world and heaven, the spiritual. We can also think that the drawing fuses two different times.
The size of the drawing is 104 x 210 cm, of which the drawing occupies 72 x 186 cm. The frame is white wood and plexiglass protects the drawing.
