"(...) In Juan Domingues' painting, there is a process of construction and deconstruction in three acts, from the repetition of three movements, in a corporeal dance, in a performative essay in which, at a certain point, painting is an extension of the body and the artist forces himself, both physically and intellectually, until he introduces himself into the theme, acting as the storyteller. (...), in the antithesis of the myth's praise and its questioning, the artist, painter, seeks an interior resolution of his ghosts, his doubts, what he does in color, in form, in composition, and in music ... Time travel of the complete man who wants to make himself whole, not ordinary, who does not seek the advantage of the common but the essence of the rare and, we know, only the rare rise to Olympus, from gods or artists beyond the terribly reasonable.
