Hugo Castilho's sculptural paintings, which fall under the concept of high-relief, in production since the end of 2019, come to life using a spoon, thick mass, enamel paint and brushes. The artist molds and paints an imaginary universe, where he explores the qualities of the fantastic as a reflection of reality, through ethical, educational, and humorous content, communicated and figured by a diversity of animals.
