My work is a fusion of impressionism and realism, captured on paper. Using acrylic and oil, I have captured the essence of a rustic building, full of history and character. The Maison d'Aveyron in France is probably the oldest residential building in the country, built in the 13th century. In this work, the artist recreates the building alone, separating it from the adjacent dwellings to emphasise its unique architecture.
