Static and silent, the Earth keeps traces of what were once moments of great anguish, despair and pain. Each extract tells us a timeline that has been forgotten, but which constitutes what has lasted, what we know and what it tells us. Every day by the human is compacted. Every day by the human is sculpted. Among the earth, rocks and debris, there is the story of many men who fought for their homeland, uprooted from their lands to the unknown, fighting for a cause that no one has explained to them and against an enemy whose offences they do not understand. For many years considered lost in the gaps of time, the letters that were written were eventually censored, filed or often lost on the battlefield. As well as the hope and joy of many men that remained there for eternity, remained the story that each hero left for between the lines of time, many tried to fulfil the mission, but few brought the mission accomplished.
