In the series of works "Dream Homes", I use collage and drawing to compose, such as paint, superimposing layers of colour and texture. I collect papers with different backgrounds, brands and contexts, working out their chromatic relationships, tensions and the stories they tell. Finding in colour and line, complementary and expressive elements, fundamental to the creation of these dream places, places to live, at a time when our homes have gained an even deeper impact in our lives. We have never spent so much time indoors and in such a confrontation with their things, memories, people and our own identity within them. These dream homes connect with the idea of shelter, security and strength, but also with a certain and new need to breathe.
