One knows of animals licking stones and of the first men entering caves looking for the salty taste. The importance of the balance of the waters and the weight of the moons is known. Of purification requiring the sea to snake its way through channels. The water that tires, the ground that only allows bare feet.

This work is a reflection on our position in the world, how we interact and affect nature and other living beings. It intends to reflect on the duality of control and fragility, the constant tension between our need to interfere with the planet and the natural and eternal state of things that is transition.
The project was developed for the 1st Porto Photography Biennale, allusive to the theme "Adaptation and Transition" and aimed to question how we can collaborate in the transition to a more adapted and sustainable society.
