This small miniature moves between figurative painting and abstraction. I tried to create dynamism, locating the protagonist of the painting, a small abandoned porcelain figure of a train, on the right bottom corner, as if it tries to go out of the frame. The painting was painted impulsively during the confinement and represents my general feelings: confusion, loneliness, getting out of proportion, pessimism. It is like a reminder that the little things in life are still the ones that matter and the ones that can make a change. The motive of the train is painted in a way that reminds pre-expressionism (such as Ensor and Munch), as well as impressionism.
