Part of 2016 work and of "WIND METAPHORS” exhibition in Lisbon, where the theme suggested the Arab spring, the escape of migrants crossing the sea and the madness of the attacks. And I wrote: "(...) Then, the dust slapped my face as the wind roared in a raw caress. The birds have flown. And I felt. Heard."
I started the oil painting process to which I added dry pigment, in this case, burnt sienna, which I fixed. For multiple layers until the desired result, I used to seal the layers Paraloid B72-instead of the ordinary varnish, thus ensuring greater resistance.
