Daniela Reis' painting is generated by pleasure and urgency. It is usually figurative and calls for multiple meanings and relationships between the characters that inhabit them. Uses oil, watercolour, and collage.
She has a master’s degree and a Painting Degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, where she lives and works.
Participated in several exhibitions, both individual and collective, highlighting the individual exhibitions in 2017 with the support of the Portuguese embassy in Morocco (Essaouira, Rabat, el Jadida); also in 2017 “A Sombra Domesticada”, at the Acervo gallery, in Lisbon; in 2013, at the Sines Arts Centre. Collective exhibitions between 2016/17 at Acervo Gallery; in 2001 at Teatro Taborda, associated with the play “MAR ME QUER” by Mia Couto by Meridional Theatre, Lisbon.
