Evandro Renan is a visual artist from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, where he began his studies in drawing and later completed a degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in drawing and metal engraving at the Minas Gerais state university, lived in the United States for a year, attended a summer course at Rhode Island School of Design to improve his language in watercolour. Nowadays lives and works in Portugal where he obtained a master's degree in illustration from Esag-Guimarães. Based on his interest in literature, comics and illustration, Evandro develops his work using watercolour as a means of expression, exploring the potential of this technique in search of different registers to compose his universe represented by organic shapes, dreamlike and fantastic atmospheres. Evandro Participated in exhibitions in Brazil, China, the United States and Portugal.
