In the last exhibitions, I have been portraying imagined landscapes, alluding to the sound of places far from the cities, which can approach an almost silence. The incessant search for places where you can for a moment "stop time" in contradiction to the noise and plot of city life. The feeling of silence and an almost contemplation is transmitted to us by the static composition of the painting and the bucolic scenes. The materials used are natural pigments (made by me and brought from different countries), Chinese ink, some scratchers and anilines on paper.
The search for these scenarios and surroundings emerge from a work that I have been developing in recent years that addresses issues related to the Human Being and his increasing distance from Nature, the brutal reduction of its space at the expense of asphalt and concrete and the urgency of a REconsciousness that we need in order to be full.
