Renata Carneiro was born in Porto in 1980, city where she currently lives and works.
Renata Carneiro began her artistic studies at the Soares dos Reis School High School, following the degree in painting at the Porto Arts School (ESAP) in 2004. She moved to Madrid to persuit a master degree in theory and practice of contemporary arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University, in 2006.
She has been participating in collectively and individually exhibitions, since 2000. Her work is represented in several public and private collections in Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Greece, Argentina and Japan.
