She graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. Between 2002 and 2007, she was a programmer of the PêSSEGOpráSEMANA space, in Porto, with the artists André Sousa and Miguel Carneiro. In 2007/2008 she received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation at the Location One artist residency in New York. In 2007, she was one of the nominees for the EDP Young Artists Award and, in 2005, one of those selected for the exhibition “7 artists at the 10th month”, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. She has been exhibiting individually and collectively, since 2001, in several galleries and institutions, among which the Coleção Berardo Museum, in Lisbon; the Sala do Veado, at the Natural History Museum, in Lisbon; the Museum of Contemporary Art in Elvas; the Marcelino Botín Foundation, in Santander; the MUDAM - Center D'art Moderne Gran-Duc Jean, in Luxembourg; the Hildesheim Museum of Contemporary Art, among others. Her works are represented in the collections of Ilídio Pinho Foundation, RAR, EDP Foundation, among others.
