Maria Catarina (1992, Gaia) focuses on the limits of perception and strategies for the graphic translation of the undefined. In her work, she proposes to explore and investigate projections and speculations about what escapes our understanding. More recently, she has been dedicated to themes that allow experimenting with translucency. Drawing and printmaking are the main areas in which she develops work.

She has a degree in Sculpture (FBAUP) and finished her Master's in Design and Printing Techniques (FBAUP) in 2017.
