Pedro Tudela (b.1962) is a visual and sound artist. Miguel Carvalhais (b.1974) is a designer and musician. They are both assistant professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Music was one of the meeting places between the two who, since 2000, founded the transdisciplinary project @c and in 2003 the publisher Chronicle, which publishes experimental and electronic music. They are authors of more than 20 albums, nationally and internationally and have performed live on some of the main stages in Portugal and beyond, collaborating very often with other musicians artists. From music, the artistic partnership between Pedro Tudela and Miguel Carvalhais quickly expanded to the field of installation, where sound is the basis for the development of site specific multimedia projects that wander into contexts of complex sensory activations of audiences and which necessarily link to deployment environments.
Pedro Tudela is represented individually by Kubic Gallery.
