Carlos Manuel Amoedo Antas signs his works as Carlos Amoedo. He was born in Tours (France) in 1967, and when he was 20 years old he settled in Spain. Only a few years later he began to live in Valença (North Portugal).
With a background in interior design, Carlos has a passion for drawing and is fascinated by colour and texture from a very young age. He develops his study and works in art with great calmness and discipline, crossing several stages and seeking explanation and inspiration in diverse styles, artists and poetry. His latest project is based on personal reflection and reinterpretation of the work of artists such as Kadinsky, Piet Mondrian, Andy Warhol, Bansky, Picasso and Marc Quinn. His works are already part of private collections in Portugal, France, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Angola and England.
