Tânia Reis awoke very early for the plastic arts, initially with graphite drawings but, with a predilection for the figuration of the human face, which continues to be the basis of his work, having adopted an Expressionist language. The cosmopolitan and contemporary society and the human psyche are the key influences of his works of palette dominated by the contrasts on the white of the base, from which stand out his characters tormented.
