The architecture is the basic training area of João Filipe. In it, eventually, he sharpened his skills for drawing and for observing detail in the expressiveness of the human body. Painting is his great passion. It is in a rampant way that he indulges in the technique of oil pastel, like a restricted group of artists of his generation (but also of previous generations), to become one more of the interpreters of the new figuration.
