SEMIBREVE Award – prize for digital art creation

Scheduled for the 28th, 29th and 30 of October, SEMIBREVE festival returns to Braga with an excellence program of electronic music and digital art.  In addition to the already announced Andy Stott, Paul Jebanasam & Tarik Barri and Ron Morelli and to the first time performing in Portugal Tyondai Braxton, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Oliver Coates, the 2016 edition also brings back the SEMIBREVE Prize, thought to distinguish the best digital artistic creations. This year with the special sponsorship by Edigma, this award aims to stimulate the development of digital art, trying to find projects that promote interactivity, sound and image.

The winner will have his work on exhibition during the festival, plus a cash prize, travel and accommodation.

With applications open until July 31, the competition is looking for individual professionals, groups, businesses and public authorities that are working digital media in an irreverent and inspiring way.
