"A Mão" is an etching with intaglio intervention on zinc. It reflects the artist's fixation with the hand as a concept and visual object, the hand as the appendage that externalises a thought or a will. The hand that reflects latent emotions on its surface, an attempt to externalise things that are felt but not said. The hand that bites its nails, that carves metal, that creates the work and destroys it.
