DGELO is a piece that aims to alert those who contemplate it towards the climate changes that
currently occur on our planet and is, therefore, a sculpture whose ephemerality represents the ephemerality of our world.
The main element of this composition is an ice sphere which, like Planet Earth, is vulnerable to changes in temperature. Placed at the top of the metallic structure that supports it, the ball, will over time, melt and drip into a container, also spherical, which is in the ground.
In order to introducing a temporality in the sculpture, water was used as the primary matter, since, due to its nature and transformation cycles (from solid to liquid ) it is a material which can pass from material to immaterial, allowing us, with the naked eye, to feel the passage of time that cannot be controlled by Man.
