Alex Halles and Beth Meadway rehearsing the roles of Lord and Lady Capulet for Ballet Cymru's 2019 production Romeo a Juliet, choreographed by Darius James and Amy Doughty. The production later toured the England, Wales and Bermuda.

The painting is in oil on linen, with the underpainting made with red iron oxide - a beautiful pigment I had only recently encountered.
