"Is this link to talk, to my eyes, the work of Alexandra de Pinho gathered here. Instead of writing submitted to us, the typewriters are omnipresent. Sometimes come in pairs and dialogue among themselves. Are witnesses of blank pages, deletions, lack of inspiration, great combinations of words, unforeseen breaks and emotions that accompany a period. So are the literary machines, as you call them the artist. It is from these extensions of the human body we found texts from fruition, originally written by authors as disparate as the composer Jorge Palma and the writer Maria Gabriela Llansol. They are fragments of speeches that, both in the Act of writing and reading, exude jouissance. And, therefore, invite you to a questioning of the world around us, opening the new perspectives and the formulation of alternative ideas. All the quotes chosen, hand-stitched in support of the work itself, have a penchant or ontological critic — don't be fooled by soft tissue and candor. " Andréia Azevedo Soares (journalist)
