"Paris, fragmented source of men", is the title of the work, because Paris is just that. In the great city, individuals present distinct forms of lives and each person is inhabited by their being. They are people who cross paths, because each neighbourhood is like that, a set of distinct, unique and (in)dependent individuals. Daily, the routine takes away the capacity to observe, to feel, to relate. The night, the sleep and the dream! The dream of living again, the opportunity to wake up and simply enjoy, the city, the things, the people, as if for the first time. What if suddenly we are forced to stop and look around? And what if we suddenly start to value everything we have devalued?
In the realisation of "Paris, a fragmented source of men" the body of the figure stands out, luminous, the result of a beam of light that appears and hits the wall. Everything else is black, the dark of the night, where the future is unknown, uncertain and unpredictable.
