I paint acrylics on canvas, as a panel, with gestural brushstrokes and using the monotype technique. I currently use post-war abstractionist artists and the Japanese-Brazilian artist Tomie Ohtake as references. The title was taken from a beautiful song by singer-songwriter Geraldo Vandré, which was a hit in Brazil, and the colours refer to flowers, of course. A common theme in my work is geometric shapes.
