Carlos Cavaleiro builds his works from a phenomenological perspective. He often works through things found in different media, such as sculpture, photography, and video. These things are collected, destroyed, repaired, combined, dismembered and remembered creating associations and dissociations, seeking to subvert the significant load that objects carry, creating forms "between" (which explore the ambiguity and poetics). These forms are often distinguished by their physicality, from which the object-subject relationship merges, and objects, under this effect, gain psychic characteristics.
