Mário Macedo was born in Joane, Portugal in 1989.
He completed European Film College in Denmark and has a degree in Sound and Image by Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. In 2011 he premiered his documentary short ’Tio Rui' at Doclisboa, followed by a number of screenings at other festivals.
He has featured in various productions from music videos to commercials and worked as an assistant to Andrew Sugerman at Pantheon Entertainment, Hollywood.
Has a photographer, Mário has his work exhibited in different showcases and festivals around the world.
Mário is one of the founders of 73 collective, an art collective embracing mediums such as painting, photography, film, music, poetry and fashion.
