Sandra work is centered in human relations. Sometimes looking through the stereotypes and sometimes through the eyes of a individual, it is always about how one personality is form and how one relates to the other and moves in society.
One of her main influences is the work of cartoon artists like Quino and Mordillo for their keen take in social critique and economical plastic language. Drifting between figuration and organic abstraction, the goal is to find the optimal visual solution for an idea, within the confines of the pathos presented.
Sandra has a degree in Sculpture by the Beaux Arts College of Lisbon University and made her professional internship in the Sculpture International Center, in Odrinhas. She has public art pieces in Portugal and France and work represented in several public and private collections. She regularly participates in collectives and individual exhibitions. Second place award for Installation in the IV Bienal of Salerno, Italy, in 2021.
