Mariana Andrade was born in 1999, Portugal. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and majority of her work is developed through painting and drawing. They’re characterized by her deep interest in the subconscious which materializes through the compositions of organic elements in a pictorial realm that is either fragmented or finds a unification in itself.
She frequently works with graphite and oil pastel in a compulsive method with the intent of creating multiple layers and consequently erasing them; she also explores with pen, acrylic and oil paint.
