The working title of this drawing was "an opening to the Universe". Aina is Finnish and means "eternally". This drawing creates a connection with the cosmos.
I started to draw Aina in 2012 and thought I had finished it. In 2014 I retouched it and again thought it was finished. In 2017 I wanted to show it in an exhibition and continued working with it.
The size of the drawing is 73 x 226 cm, the paper is mounted on plywood
