Through paintings on high relief, in production since the end of 2019, sculpted with plaster and cement and, strongly coloured with enamel paint, Hugo Castilho transports us to a universe of its own. Where animals, humans and, most of the time, by mixing their forms, fantastic creatures, embody ethical, melancholy and humorous scenes. Works, which although elaborated with fantasy, remind us, nostalgically, of moments that we have all lived... or we think we have lived.
